Paper forms for voter registration may obtained from Irondale City Hall. Completed forms must be mailed directly to the Jefferson County Board of Registrars at Jefferson County Courthouse - North Annex, Suite A410, 716 Richard Arrington Jr. Blvd. North, Birmingham, AL 35203.

How can I vote by absentee ballot?
Absentee applications are available at Irondale City Hall. The first day to apply for an absentee ballot is July 29, 2025. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is August 21, 2025. Completed absentee applications may be returned in-person or by mail to the City Clerk's office. Absentee ballots will be sent out by the Clerk's office on the next business day following the approval of the application. Absentee ballots may be returned to City Hall by hand-delivery no later than on 5:00 p.m. on August 25, 2025. Absentee ballots may also be mailed to Irondale City Hall and must be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on Election Day, August 26, 2025.
